51, Unfinished & On Fire (Spring Is Ours) 🌷🔥

Hey beautiful,

It’s March.
My birthday month.
Fifty. One.

And let me just say this right out loud for both of us:

We are not behind.
We are not washed up.
We are not done.

We are just getting started.

The clocks change next weekend. Pisces season has rolled in with her intuitive, dreamy, mystical energy. Spring is stretching her arms and teasing us with longer light and warmer air. There is something in the atmosphere right now — a promise.

Can you feel it?

This is the season of the woman who thought she missed her chance… realizing she didn’t.

The woman rebuilding her credit.
The woman opening secret savings accounts.
The woman googling “how to invest” at midnight.
The woman lifting weights, or boxing, or walking angry miles around the block.
The woman whispering to herself, “I think I want more.”

Oh honey.

You are not crazy for wanting more.

You are remembering who you were before life told you to shrink.

A Birthday-Season Ritual for the Woman Reclaiming Herself

This weekend, I want you to try this:

The Becoming Ritual.

  1. Put on music that makes you feel like the main character.
  2. Light a candle (or stand in the sunlight if you’re a no-candle girl).
  3. “The woman I am becoming…”

Then list her.

How does she dress?
How does she handle money?
How does she move her body?
Who does she allow near her?
What does she no longer tolerate?

Now here’s the part that changes everything:

Pick ONE tiny action that aligns with her — and do it within 24 hours.

Open the savings account.
Transfer $20.
Apply for the secured card.
Go to the gym.
Send the application.
Buy the domain.
Book the therapy session.

We don’t become her all at once.

We become her in decisions.

Let’s Talk Glow-Ups (On a Budget, Obviously)

We are not spending rent money on reinvention.

But we are allowed to feel fierce.

• Hit the thrift store in the “nice” part of town.
• Try a bold lip color you would’ve been “too shy” to wear at 32.
• Swap out your everyday eyeliner for a smoky bronze or deep plum.
• Tailor or repurpose something you already own.
• Host a closet swap with girlfriends.

You don’t need a whole new wardrobe.

Sometimes you just need one piece that makes you walk differently.

And walking differently changes everything.

Girls’ Trips (Without the Second Mortgage)

We don’t need Bali right now.
We need connection.

Plan:
• A beach day.
• A winery afternoon.
• A state park hike + picnic.
• A museum + coffee date.
• A “no husbands, no drama, no trauma dumping” Saturday.

Friendship is medicine.

And if you’re rebuilding and your circle feels thin right now?
Start by befriending yourself.

Take yourself to brunch.
Take yourself to the bookstore.
Take yourself to the mat, the ring, the trail.

You deserve your own devotion.

For the Woman Who Thinks She’s Not Financially Ready

If you need this reminder again:

You don’t have to be financially perfect to start changing your life.

If you haven’t read it yet, go read:
You Don’t Have to Be Financially Ready to Leave
(And yes, it will light a fire under you.)

Or this one:
So, I’m 50 and Financially Behind — Now What?
Because shame is not a strategy. Action is.

And if you need a step-by-step, no-fluff, real-world survival guide?

For my birthday season, I’m offering Broke But Brave for just $1.

One dollar.

Because sometimes you don’t need a $997 course.
You need a clear plan and someone saying, “You can do this.”

You can grab it here:

Something Big Is Coming…

Next month, I’m unveiling something new.

It’s bold.
It’s aligned.
It’s built for the woman who is DONE playing small.

I’m not spilling all the details yet… but if you’ve been feeling the shift? You’re going to love what’s coming.

Stay close.

Fifty-one feels different.

It feels less apologetic.
Less afraid.
Less willing to settle.

It feels like finally choosing ourselves.

And if you’re reading this thinking,
“Maybe it’s not too late for me…”

It’s not.

Spring is coming.

So are you.

With love, fire, and a slightly bolder lip color,

Jessi 💋

P.S. If one friend popped into your head while reading this, forward it to her. Rebuilding is easier when we don’t do it alone.
