After three wild, beautiful, exhausting weeks with my daughter and grandbabies — one energetic 6-year-old boy and twin 3-year-old girls (yes, you read that right) — I’m packing up the car and driving them back to Texas in the morning. 🛣️
As much as I’ll miss them, I’ve come to a very real, very humbling realization...
👉 I am officially too old to keep up with toddlers for 21 days straight.

🥘 Quick Recipe: Creamy Chicken & Broccoli Pasta Bake
(Feeds a hungry family, freezes like a dream, tastes like comfort.)
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked chicken (rotisserie works!)
- 3 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 bag frozen broccoli, steamed
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 1 cup shredded cheddar
- Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
- Optional: crushed Ritz crackers or breadcrumbs for topping
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Mix all ingredients (except topping) in a big bowl.
- Pour into greased 9x13 dish, top with crackers or breadcrumbs.
- Bake 25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Serve with a side of peace and quiet (if you can find it).
