I Swear This Was Divine Steering (Even Without Brakes)
Hey radiant soul,
So picture this: I'm somewhere in rural Tennessee, winding my way to Texas, singing along to whatever song was keeping me awake… when suddenly my car just dies. And I don’t mean a slow, coughing kind of breakdown. I mean—engine off, power gone, brakes unresponsive, steering wheel stiff like a stubborn toddler refusing to turn.
My alternator had decided it was time for an early retirement.
But here’s the miracle part.
Despite having no power and being on the interstate, I somehow drifted over a mile. I don’t even know how. The car glided onto the exit ramp like it was on angel wings. I rolled down a hill, up another one, and through a stop sign (y’all—there were no cars coming. Not one. At that exact moment. On a highway-adjacent road.)
And then? I rolled right into a truck stop parking lot… and into a perfectly aligned parking spot.
No brakes. No steering. No divine GPS system I’m aware of.
Just me, coasting on pure grace and disbelief.
Even the tow truck driver was like: "Ma’am, I’ve never seen anything like that in 17 years."
I had AAA (praise be). It wasn’t cheap, but it could’ve been so much worse. And honestly, I wasn’t scared—I was just… in awe.
💫 Sometimes, the universe doesn’t just catch you.
It straight-up guides you into the parking space.
