Life Threw Me a Plot Twist… But I’m Still Here, Radiant & Rebellious ✨

Hey you gorgeous rebel,

First, I owe you a big, warm, slightly sweaty hug and a heartfelt “I’m sorry.”

Life threw me a curveball (or more like a full-blown emotional tornado) the past couple of weeks. I lost a dear neighbor and then a lifelong chosen brother—within the same week. It was like the universe said, “Hey, let’s just shake her to her core and see what she’s made of.”

I’ve been navigating grief, tears, and those "What is even the point of anything?" moments—but also clarity, conviction, and a renewed fire for the work I know I’m meant to do.

💥Which brings me to this:
I’ve been pouring my heart into two wildly important projects:

💋 DIY Luxury on a Budget: Summer Body Butter Bliss

Ready to feel like a radiant goddess without spending spa money? Here’s your new obsession:

🌿 Summer Radiance Whipped Body Butter

What You’ll Need:

  • 1/2 cup shea butter
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup sweet almond oil (or olive oil)
  • A few drops of peppermint essential oil (cooling + refreshing)
  • A few drops of lavender or lemon essential oil (for that summer vibe)

Directions:

  1. Gently melt the shea butter and coconut oil in a double boiler.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the almond oil + essential oils.
  3. Let it cool in the fridge until slightly firm (not hard).
  4. Whip it like you're mad at it—hand mixer, 5 minutes, until fluffy.
  5. Store in a jar. Slather on post-shower. Glow like the sun.

Bonus Tip: Keep it in the fridge for a cooling treat after hot days. You’re welcome.

Ask a Grown-Ass Woman

📭 Your safe space to ask the questions you’re afraid to Google.

Thank you H.C. from Vermont! You are amazing, and you will get there if you just keep putting one foot in front of the other!

Q: “I feel like I keep starting over every few months. Am I broken?”
A:
Nope. You’re just human and evolving, babe. Life isn’t linear—it’s more like a drunk lady at a yard sale with a shopping cart full of “WTF am I doing?” moments.

Every restart is not a failure. It’s a rebirth. You’re not behind, you’re in motion. And honestly? That’s where the magic happens. So slap on your metaphorical lipstick, turn the page, and start again with swagger.

💪 This Just In: Speed 25 by Joel Freeman (Beachbody)

Y’all know I don’t promote just anything, but let me tell you—I did the sampler workout for Joel Freeman’s new Speed 25 (launching June 10), and HOT DAMN.

It’s fast. It’s fun. It makes you sweat in all the best ways.
If you want a workout that’s high energy without high impact on your joints (or your sanity), keep an eye out. I’m calling it now: this one’s going to shake up summer bod goals without the toxic BS. I’ll update you once it's fully launched!

Quote of the Week

“You can start over each morning if you need to. That’s not weakness, it’s strength in disguise.”
– Yours truly (because I need this tattooed on my forehead)
