Wind Warnings + Warm Souls (Cozy Weekend Edition)

The Radiant Souls: Free and Healing

Keeping Warm Edition!

Hi love,

If you’re anywhere near me right now, you’ve probably heard the wind trying to remove your siding from the house.

High wind warnings.
Extreme cold.
“Please don’t fly into the next county” energy.

So we are officially entering:

🔥 Cozy Survival Mode 🔥

And honestly? I don’t hate it.

There is something powerful about choosing warmth when the world feels sharp.

Let’s make this weekend nourishing — physically, emotionally, spiritually.

First: Protect Your Peace Like You Protect Your House

While we’re boarding up metaphorical windows…

I just published a new article:

“Your Standards Aren’t ‘Too High’—You’re Just Not Tolerating BS Anymore.”

It’s a loving, sassy breakdown of:
• The difference between boundaries and walls
• Scripts that don’t apologize
• How to handle backlash without collapsing

If you’ve ever been told you’re “too much” simply because you won’t accept crumbs anymore, this one is for you.

Because protecting your peace isn’t cold.
It’s warm self-respect.

Cold Weather Self-Care Upgrade

Let’s talk practical warmth.

When the wind is howling and your nervous system is already jumpy, your body needs grounding.

My Favorite Cold-Weather Upgrade:

An Electric Heating Pad (or Weighted Heated Throw)

Game changer.

It:
• calms your nervous system
• relaxes tight shoulders
• lowers stress response
• feels like a hug without needing to people

If you’re healing, boundary-setting, or just emotionally tired? Heat therapy is underrated magic.

Wrap up. Breathe. Let your body soften.

Cozy Recipe: Radiant Soul Winter Stew

This is simple, warm, and basically therapy in a bowl.

Ingredients:

• 1 lb ground turkey or beef (or chickpeas for veggie version)
• 1 onion, diced
• 3 carrots, chopped
• 2 potatoes, cubed
• 2 cloves garlic
• 4 cups broth
• 1 can diced tomatoes
• 1 tsp thyme
• 1 tsp paprika
• Salt + pepper
• Optional: handful of spinach at the end

Directions:

Brown the meat.
Add onion + garlic.
Toss everything into a pot.
Simmer 30–40 minutes.
Serve with crusty bread.

Eat slowly.
Text no one.
Let the world spin without you for a minute.

For the Fun Factor…

If you’re curled up under blankets anyway, this is the perfect time to grab Hot Flashes & Hexes.

Midlife magic. Laugh-out-loud moments. A heroine who refuses to shrink.

And Book 2?
Ohhh. She’s almost ready.

Let’s just say… things get deliciously interesting.

And Something I’m So Excited About…

I’m building something new.

A Finance + Wellness Facebook group for women who are rebuilding, reclaiming, and rising.

We’re talking:
• Financial literacy without shame
• Nervous system regulation
• Boundaries
• Healing
• Wealth building
• No toxic positivity

It’s going to be safe, smart, and powerful.

More details soon… but I’m genuinely excited about this one.

Before You Go…

If the wind outside feels chaotic, let this be your reminder:

You don’t have to live in chaos anymore.

Not emotionally.
Not relationally.
Not spiritually.

Warmth is allowed.

Standards are allowed.

Peace is allowed.

Stay cozy.
Stay clear.
Stay radiant.

With love (and a heating pad on full blast),
Jessi ✨
